{"id":22584,"date":"2016-08-22T07:18:13","date_gmt":"2016-08-22T07:18:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pre-production.taftcollege.edu\/admissions\/?page_id=22584"},"modified":"2022-09-16T15:15:51","modified_gmt":"2022-09-16T22:15:51","slug":"enrollment-or-degree-verifications","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/archive.taftcollege.edu\/admissions\/academic-records-and-transcripts\/enrollment-or-degree-verifications\/","title":{"rendered":"Enrollment or Degree Verification"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">Enrollment\/Award Verification from Taft College<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Services for Ordering a Verification:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3>Option 1: Student Internet Request<\/h3>\n<p><strong>\u2028\u2028Student Records: Verification of Enrollment or Degree verification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Taft College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide enrollment and degree verification.<\/p>\n<p>Please click on the appropriate link below to use this service.<\/p>\n<p>Enrollment verification:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.enrollmentverify.org\/\">www.enrollmentverify.org\u2028\u2028<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Degree verification:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.degreeverify.org\/\">www.degreeverify.org\u00a0\u2028<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Loan Deferment Requests: <strong>Call National Student\u00a0Clearinghouse\u00a0at 703.742.4200 choose option #3\u00a0and follow the instructions that they\u00a0provide. <\/strong>(Students that has a\u00a0confidentiality\u00a0indicator\u00a0on their Taft College\u00a0records may not be eligible for this type of request.)<\/p>\n<h3>Option 2: In Person or Mailed-in Requests<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Services:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Regular Service:<\/strong> All requests received from Monday through Friday will be processed within 4-5 business days. The first two copies (lifetime) are FREE. Additional copies are $4.00 per copy thereafter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rush\u00a0Service: <\/strong>Rush orders placed by 10am will be available for pick-up within 2 business days. Requests with attachments may take up to 4 business days to process. Rush orders are $8 in addition to the REGULAR SERVICE FEE per copy (Total $12.00 per copy).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.taftcollege.edu\/admissions\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/09\/Student-Verification-Request-1.pdf\">Student Verification Request<\/a> form can be submitted in-person, mailed, or emailed to <a href=\"mailto:records@taftcollege.edu\">records@taftcollege.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Important Reminders<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Request must include student\u2019s signature.<\/li>\n<li>ID is required if picking up a verification in person. (Note: Verification will not be released to a second party)<\/li>\n<li>Please include appropriate fees.<\/li>\n<li>If verification is not picked up within 30 days, it will be shredded. (This refers to pick-up requests only.)<\/li>\n<li>We will not be able to verify WESTEC\/Taft College certificates.<\/li>\n<li>In accordance with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.ed.gov\/policy\/gen\/guid\/fpco\/ferpa\/index.html\">Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974<\/a>\u00a0(FERPA), a student&#8217;s written authorization is <strong>REQUIRED<\/strong> to release ANY information pertaining to their educational records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Option 3: Third party Internet Request (employers or background screening firms)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Student Records: Verification of Enrollment or Degree verification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Taft College uses the National Student Clearinghouse to provide Degree and Enrollment verification to third party recipients.
