Welcome to Student Life & On-Campus Clubs<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Taft College’s Student Life Program is designed to engage students in extra-curricular activities that enrich their intellectual, ethical, and social development. The area of Student Life is committed to providing a variety of arenas where students have the opportunity to practice student self-governance, learn respect for diverse groups, learn civic responsibility, and develop life skills to carry on beyond college. Through student activities, student equity, and work-study, students are encouraged to grow as leaders and to improve on or develop the following components: ability to provide direction, to lead courageously, to foster teamwork, to motivate others, to build relationships, to coach their peers, and to act with integrity.<\/p>\n

Get involved and stay active through virtual student life.\u00a0 If you add student life to your dashboard, you can go into the modules and add any club course to stay involved through online education.\u00a0 It’s that easy.\u00a0 Follow the steps below to gain access<\/p>\n

Taft College Student Center<\/h2>\n

The new Taft College Student Center is a one-stop shop for hanging out, eating, and shopping.\u00a0 Students are welcome to go there in between classes to relax, play board games, or challenge their friends in pool, ping pong, or foosball.\u00a0 Charging stations are available to charge phones, iPad, etc.\u00a0 \u00a0Those students wanting to get involved in clubs can go to the ASO Student Leaders office #306 or meet with the Student Life and Basic Needs Coordinator (office #306) to learn about clubs or how to start a new club.<\/p>\n

  • Cultivate creative thinking skills to create an environment that encourages diversity<\/li>\n
