Lunch and a showing of the movie, Mona Lisa Smile, was provided for all of the students and faculty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Last year was Duron&#8217;s first time\u00a0having the event. She put on a slideshow of famous art work, and everyone stood about the room and talked with one another. This year was the second year, and Duron decided she would show a movie instead of another slideshow, just to change things up a bit. &#8220;Research shows that if students feel connected to one another, including the faculty, then they will succeed,&#8221; Duron explains as I ask her about her reasoning for coming out with this event. Faculty asked students about their majors, everyone discussed the movie, and shared interests.
