Fuel Your School is an innovative collaboration between Chevron and <a href=\"http:\/\/donorschoose.org\/\">DonorsChoose.org<\/a> to help fund eligible classroom projects, submitted by teachers who don\u2019t have the necessary resources for their students.<\/p>\n<table width=\"80%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>DonorsChoose.org: Support a classroom. Build a future.<\/p>\n<p>DonorsChoose.org connects teachers in high-need communities with donors who want to help.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/donorschoose.org\/\">Read more&#8230;<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What you can do<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fill your tank<\/strong>. From Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, 2015, simply fuel up with 8 or more gallons at a participating Chevron or Texaco station and Chevron will donate $1, up to $300,000, to help support eligible public education projects in Kern County.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spread the word<\/strong> about the Fuel Your School program. Tell everyone you know \u2013 friends, relatives, even the cashier at the grocery store \u2013 about fueling up in October, and be sure to visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fuelyourschool.com\/\">www.FuelYourSchool.com<\/a> and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.Effective education, including science, technology, engineering and math, can help foster bright young talent for the future workforce and healthy economic growth of our local communities, and our country.
