Since opening its doors last fall, Temblor has gained popularity as Bakersfield\u2019s newest local brewery. Temblor also offers various entertainments such as board games and a stage for live events.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/oldweb.taftcollege.edu\/tcwp\/cougaronline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMAG0156-e1459529358620.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3062\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3062 \" src=\"http:\/\/oldweb.taftcollege.edu\/tcwp\/cougaronline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMAG0156-e1459787948538-588x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMAG0156\" width=\"422\" height=\"735\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Temblor is also knowing for hosting comedy nights, and on March 19, Joey Diaz, a Cuban born New Jersey native, came to Bakersfield. Notable for his appearances on \u201cThe Joe Rogan Experience\u201d podcasts and stand-up routines, fans of Mr. Diaz arrived in droves and awaited a night of comedy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/oldweb.taftcollege.edu\/tcwp\/cougaronline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMAG0161-e1459529323266.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3060\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3060 \" src=\"http:\/\/oldweb.taftcollege.edu\/tcwp\/cougaronline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMAG0161-e1459787904590-645x1024.jpg\" alt=\"IMAG0161\" width=\"441\" height=\"700\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nLocal comedians opened for Mr. Diaz and gave everyone a comedic insight about living in Bakersfield from bad\u00a0drivers to schools unheard of the audience erupted in laughter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Joey Diaz soon came on after the local comedians and his fans greeted him with a standing ovation. Mr. Diaz wasted no time thanking everyone for coming out and began his act. From current events to social problems, Mr. Diaz spoke his mind to open ears.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/oldweb.taftcollege.edu\/tcwp\/cougaronline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/12380139_1151820131497713_1233585481_n-e1459529296974.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3063\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3063 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/oldweb.taftcollege.edu\/tcwp\/cougaronline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/12380139_1151820131497713_1233585481_n-e1459788178512.jpg\" alt=\"12380139_1151820131497713_1233585481_n\" width=\"264\" height=\"598\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Mr. Diaz revealed that he found an appreciation towards stand-up after performing for fellow inmates during his incarceration.
