{"id":4016,"date":"2016-11-01T06:44:10","date_gmt":"2016-11-01T14:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pre-production.taftcollege.edu\/tcwp\/cougaronline\/?p=4016"},"modified":"2016-11-01T06:44:10","modified_gmt":"2016-11-01T14:44:10","slug":"the-great-california-shake-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.taftcollege.edu\/echo-online\/blog\/2016\/11\/01\/the-great-california-shake-out\/","title":{"rendered":"The Great California Shake Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By Joshua Rivera<\/p>\n<p>If an earthquake were to happen right now, most people would know to stay indoors until the shaking stops, drop down to the floor and find cover, cover\u00a0their heads and necks to protect\u00a0themselves from any debris, and hold onto\u00a0their cover so\u00a0they can move with the earthquake until the shaking stops.<\/p>\n<p>To remind students of the proper procedures, Taft College participated in The Great California Shake Out. The Shake Out was held on October 20<sup>th<\/sup>, 2016, at 10:20 AM.
