Prefer email.<\/li>\n<li>The Integrated Technology Support Technician will email the instructor the information and links needed to create new account.<\/li>\n<li>Instructor will need to go to the Turnitin website to create new account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>a. Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/turnitin.com\/static\/index.html\">http:\/\/turnitin.com\/static\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>i. Also accessible via our online Databases\/Research Room <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.taftcollege.edu\/library\/Dblist4.shtml\">https:\/\/archive.taftcollege.edu\/library\/Dblist4.shtml<\/a><\/p>\n<p>b. To join the Taft College account, under the section \u201cHelp with Turnitin\u201d, you will find \u201cInstructor F.A.Q\u201d. There is a link titled \u201cHow do I join an account?\u201d Click on that link and follow the instructions.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: The instructor accounts are created by the instructors themselves. Once they have created their accounts, then they are able to join the Taft College Account.<\/p>\n<h4>Deactivating Account<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Instructor sends request for account be deactivated in the Turnitin online software to <a href=\"mailto:dhall@taftcollege.edu\">Dan Hall<\/a>, Distance Education Coordinator. Prefer email for documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> Instructors who have been removed from an account will no longer have access to the classes they created while part of the account.
