We strongly encourage you to <span class=\"s2\">update <\/span>you information today.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Important!<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">Your name and phone number will not be shared outside of this system.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Participation is voluntary and you may cancel the service at any time.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">The service is free from Taft College. Only your cellular phone carrier\u2019s normal charges apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\">To activate your account:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p3\">Go to the Taft College<a href=\"https:\/\/taftcollege.bbcportal.com\/\"> <span class=\"s2\">Emergency Alert Portal<\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p3\">Select \u2018Sign Me Up!\u2019<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Follow the onscreen instructions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p2\">The entire process will only take a few minutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Additional Sign-up Instructions: You may choose to receive emergency alerts in any or all of the following methods:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">SMS text message<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Telephone call<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">E-mail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\">To add additional emergency alert contact information:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p2\">Simply click on the &#8216;Add More&#8217; button directly under the Contact information.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">The next screen will provide the various notification options; select your preference by clicking on the radio button, then click &#8216;next&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Enter the 10 digit phone number you would like to be contacted on, and then click &#8216;next&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">The next screen has a set of instructions to follow in order to activate your notification.
