Waitlist system malfunction

Recently, Taft College experienced a system malfunction that prevented students from being correctly assigned a waitlist number in their courses.  Instead, all students were incorrectly assigned a waitlist position of 1.  The waitlists have been reviewed and corrected with the assistance of the system vendor and all waitlist position numbers are now correct.  We realize this has resulted in some of you originally believing you were in position 1 and are, in actuality further down in position.  We sincerely apologize for this issue and continue to work diligently to put safeguards in place to prevent this from happening in the future
