Attention Taft College Students
The Taft College Bookstore is open for business. You may also shop the bookstore by visiting us at bookstore.taftcollege.edu. We will be only allowing six students in the store at any one time in order to maintain posted social distancing protocols. You will be required to wear a face mask to enter and while shopping in the store.
We will begin distributing fall course materials the week of August 3rd. Book vouchers will not be accepted until August 17th and will end on September 1st. Any student requesting a book voucher must contact the Financial Aid & Scholarships office at 661-763-7762 to check eligibility and receive approval prior to going to the bookstore. If eligible a book voucher will be ready for you at the bookstore when you arrive to get your books/supplies.
You must be a member of the Associated Student Organization, $30.00 per academic year, in order to participate in the textbook rental program. Your student id card is required when renting from the bookstore. You may obtain a student id card at the Library beginning August 17th, Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. only.
Fall 2020 course materials must be returned to the bookstore by December 22nd in order to avoid late fees.
Our bookstore hours beginning August 17th, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 to 1:00 p.m. Please note to arrive no later than 4:30 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., respectively, in order for us to process your purchase at the bookstore.
