Taft College Announces 2020 Virtual Commencement Ceremony on August 21

For the first time ever, Taft College will conduct a virtual commencement ceremony in 2020 due to the continuing global pandemic. All Taft College graduate candidates from Fall 2019 and Spring and Summer 2020 have been notified of the event date and preparations are already underway.

Taft College graduate candidates have been asked to submit professional photos for inclusion in an everlasting video tribute to their hard-fought accomplishments during this period of unprecedented uncertainty. In addition, Taft College faculty have been asked to create personal video messages by department that will seek to inspire these resilient Class of 2020 graduates to continue their education and/or help them navigate a very challenging job market.

Taft College will present its 2020 virtual commencement ceremony video on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. on the Taft College West Kern Community College District YouTube channel.
