Caltrol

Position:

• Repair valves, actuators and process control instrumentation at customer’s facilities or in the Caltrol shop.
• New installation and retrofit of valves, actuators and process control instrumentation at customer’s facilities.
• Calibration of field instruments such as level, pressure and temperature transmitters.
• Troubleshoot process control equipment, including valves, actuators, field measurement instruments, and final control devices.

Paid: $15 per hour

Semester: Summer 2022

Duration: 3 months

Education/Majors: 

• Computer Science
• Energy Technology
• Math

Requirements: 

• Ability to evaluate technical data
• Ability to read and interpret written work instructions, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
• Ability to understand and use electrical test equipment including
• Multi-meters
• Current generators
• Background in process control instrumentation preferred
• Mechanically Inclined
