Internship Program
The Taft College Internship Program is designed to provide students with opportunities to grow their technical and soft skills through practical application and real-world experience. The knowledge and experience cultivated during the internship and educational process assists Taft College in producing the ideal employee for our industry partners.
An internship offers students the chance to learn by doing in a setting where they are supervised by a work-place professional. Students have the opportunity to achieve learning goals as well as to gain confidence in applying the technical skills that they have learned in an educational setting.

Student Application Process
The following four (4) steps are required and are the responsibility of the student interested in an internship:
STEP I — Review Taft College Internship Student Handbook- STEP II — Complete a Student Internship Interest Form
- STEP III — Email a Taft College Faculty Member a Faculty Evaluation Form
- STEP IV — Upload a current resume to College Central Network
After completing the above application process, contact the Taft College Workforce Center to schedule an appointment with a career counselor at 661-763-7734.
