Congratulations on Your Acceptance!

The months of April and May mark the season of college admissions decisions. This point in time can be an exceedingly joyful yet stressful occasion for several junior college students eager to transfer to a four year university in the fall. Having spent the past two years working extremely hard toward their academic goals, many Taft College students are filled with pent up anxiety and excitement when college letters begin to arrive in the mail. These letters will ultimately spell out their fate. “Will I be accepted or rejected,” this statement seems to exist as the running theme throughout these next two months.
Within Taft College alone, there are numerous transfer students who have already received admissions to several different four year universities. These four year universities include California State University of Bakersfield, California State University of Fullerton, California State University of Northridge, San Francisco State, San Jose State, Emery Riddle Aeronautical University, University California Santa Barbara, University California Davis, Cal Berkeley and several others. Taft College has produced quite a reputable list of college acceptances from the hard work of its transfer students.
For those students whose future still hangs in the balance, it is important to remember that if you’ve put in the hard work, you will see the results desired. Even though the waiting game is a long and tedious one, don’t lose hope that you will get into your dream school. To the students who have already received admissions and will be moving forward with their education at a four year in the fall, best of luck and congratulations on your acceptance!
