Guy Fieri Visits Moo

Guy Fieri Visits Moo

by Michael Clites

Last January Moo Creamery, a local restaurant in Bakersfield, was given the privilege to take part in the Food Network Channel’s hit show Diners, Drive-thrus, and Dives. The show’s host Guy Fieri travels all across the United States and puts himself in the kitchens of different restaurants to cook, create, and taste what they have to offer.
Moo Creamery has been a local restaurant for six years now and to most, still a mystery. Moo Creamery’s location is a little difficult to get to as it’s slightly hidden off of Truxtun avenue near the Triple A building. But once you arrive to Moo, you will never forget how to get there after trying some of their food and ice cream.
When Guy visited, Moo had presented him with numerous different items from their menu. One of which was their peanut butter crunch burger, a thick medium rare patty piled with fresh cut potato chips, bacon jam, arugula leaves, cheddar cheese, and homemade peanut butter! It’s only obvious that this burger doesn’t lack in flavor. But Moo didn’t stop there, another item that was presented was the grilled mac and pork sandwich, a sandwich containing the combination of pulled pork and macaroni and cheese between sourdough bread and topped with pepper-jack cheese!
If you would like to see Guy’s experience at Moo Creamery and all the foods he had tried, you can tune into the Food Network Channel on Friday, March 13th at seven p.m.
