Emily LeDuc
I tutor both Math and English. My major is Biology, with a minor in Sociology. I hope to transfer to a CSU or UC and study pre-med. I graduated from TUHS with honors. In my free time I enjoy painting and drawing.
Heidy Valenzuela
My name is Heidy Valenzuela, and I am a Psychology 2200 tutor at the Taft College Learning Center. I was born and raised in Cuyama and am bilingual. I recently graduated from Taft High.
Gabriel Madrigal
My name is Gabriel Madrigal, but you can call me Gabe for short. I work in the Math Lab on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00am-1:00pm. I tutor for those that need help in PSYC 2200, I hope to transfer to a CSU or UC and become a therapist in the future.
Victoria Dorazco
My name is Victoria Dorazco and I am from Bakersfield. This is my first semester as a tutor for English 1500 but my second semester at Taft College. I am majoring in Liberal Arts of Allied Health and planning to apply to the Dental Hygiene program here at Taft College. In my free time I enjoy baking and going out with friends.
Samuel Ruth
My name is Samuel Ruth. I am a second-year student at Taft College and am tutoring this semester for the first time. Although pre-med is currently my ambition at the undergraduate level, I enjoy math and am always excited to learn more on the subject. Long term, I’d like to study neuroscience, and enter either a research field or become a physician.
Carlos Garcia
My name is Carlos Garcia. I am majoring in Biology and hope to transfer to a UC in 2024, followed by medical school. I tutor Chemistry 1510, 2211, 2212, English and Spanish.
